Atchana's Homegrown Thai Restaurant

Atchana's Homegrown Thai Restaurant

3194 Commodore Plaza, Miami, FL 33133

(305) 774-0404

Our experience at Atchana's was exceptional, starting with our fantastic waiter, Hector, who earned five stars before the first dish arrived. Hector's expertise in the menu and delightful personality set the tone for a memorable dining experience.

What truly impressed us was the restaurant's dedication to accommodating food allergies and sensitivities. With several members in our party having specific dietary needs, Hector guided each person to find a suitable and delicious option.

The TOM KHA KAI SOUP, a delightful blend of chicken, coconut milk, galangal, and mushrooms, became a customized delight when I opted for tofu instead. The PAD KEE MAO, or "Drunken noodles," was not only flavorful with chicken and veggies but also met the gluten-free, dairy-free, and no-egg requirements.

For those craving spice, my friends found the dishes slightly milder than anticipated. However, the overall quality and taste of each item we tried, including the classic PAD THAI with shrimp and pork and the flavorful SPECIAL FRIED RICE with chicken, beef, and a fried egg, were good.

Our late lunch at Atchana's was complemented by a stroll around Coconut Grove, making it a perfect afternoon in the area. If you're in Miami and seeking a restaurant that caters to diverse dietary needs without compromising on taste, Atchana's Homegrown Thai Restaurant is a must-visit.

PHO BAR Davie, Fl

PHO

I recently visited PHO BAR at 6310 Griffen Rd, Davie, FL, and had a fantastic experience. The staff was accommodating, allowing me to customize my Vegan Pho with a light, healthy broth made from fruits and vegetables. I opted for carrots, tofu, and sprouts, excluding broccoli and mushrooms. The individually packaged to-go option with clear heating instructions made the meal convenient. Despite the busy atmosphere, the place maintained a great vibe, offering indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, the food was delicious, and I highly recommend trying it either in-house or to go.

Cinnaholic in Boca Raton, situated in a charming hidden shopping plaza, proved to be a sweet haven. The Old Skool Cinnabuns, Cookie Monster Roll, and Sparkle Berry Roll were heavenly, whether indulged on-site or the next day. Don't miss their delightful iced and hot coffee and tea options – my iced caramel macchiato perfectly complemented the sweet experience. It is a must-visit for those in the mood for a delectable treat.

A delightful outdoor dining experience. The staff is exceptionally accommodating to food allergies, ensuring a worry-free meal. I opted for the veg head wrap—hummus, romaine, cabbage, red pepper, pico de gallo, sprouts, and citrus vinaigrette—a light, filling, and delicious choice. Dina's Vegan Deli

Dina's Vegan Deli at 1880 W 10th St Bldg 106, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, (561) 623-8643

This place left a lasting impression on my recent visit. The friendly staff, particularly the knowledgeable person who took our order, made us feel welcome and guided us through their menu. Opting for their famous Philly cheese steak subs and a side of crispy french fries, we were not disappointed.

While waiting for our food, we couldn't help but admire the walls with photos of celebrities who have embraced plant-based diets. The staff member engaged us in a conversation about why people choose plant-based lifestyles, food processing methods, and ingredient origins. She was very knowledgeable, and It added a thoughtful touch to our dining experience.

The entire menu boasted an array of tempting options, and when our meals arrived, the flavors exceeded expectations. The bustling atmosphere indicated the popularity of this spot, with a steady flow of diners. Overall, Dina's Vegan Deli stands out not only for its delectable plant-based offerings but also for the welcoming ambiance and informative staff, making it a must-visit for both seasoned vegans and those new to plant-based dining.

Plant Pizza Cooper City Florida

Plant Pizza

8763 Stirling Rd, Cooper City, FL 33328

Placing an order online with special instructions was easy, and even when they couldn't fulfill one request, they called promptly with alternative options.

We savored the BBQ pizza with plant-based chicken, featuring a medley of flavors from mozzarella, BBQ sauce, red onions, scallions, and a drizzle of ranch dressing. The pepperoni pizza with plant-based pepperoni, mozzarella, and onions was equally satisfying. Even our meat-eating companions relished the dishes.

Picking up the order was a breeze, and the food was served fresh and hot, straight from the oven. Planet Pizza is worth a visit – a great spot for delicious plant-based options and top-notch service.

A Delightful Evening at Darbsters

Darbsters

8020 S Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach, FL,

(561)586-2622

Darbsters is a charming little gem that caught our attention with its cozy ambiance and inviting outdoor seating adorned with twinkling string lights. The restaurant is cleverly divided into different sections, each offering a unique atmosphere—casual in one corner and romantically intimate in another. While indoor dining is an option, the allure of dining in the open air proved irresistible on the evening of our visit.

April, our server for the night, played a crucial role in making our experience memorable. She greeted us with a warm smile, demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu, and efficiently guided us through the culinary offerings. Her recommendations were spot-on, adding a personal touch to our dining adventure.

To kick off the evening, I opted for a guava craft cider, while my dining partner enjoyed a glass of crisp white wine. Our shared starter, the nacho platter, was a delightful fusion of flavors and textures—tortilla chips generously loaded with queso, black beans, arugula, jalapeño ponzu, and sour cream. The dish was not only delicious but also surprisingly filling.

For the main course, we ventured into the black and bleu burger territory a tantalizing creation featuring a beet brown rice and lentil patty, adorned with blue cheeze, tempeh bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, red onion mayo, and balsamic ketchup, all encased in a perfectly gluten-free bun. Accompanied by a side of impeccably cooked fries, every bite was a symphony of flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied.

Despite our full bellies, the tempting dessert menu beckoned, but alas, we had no room left to explore its offerings. A promise to return, especially to experience their weekend brunch, lingered in the air as we bid Darbsters adieu.

In conclusion, Darbsters is a culinary haven worth exploring. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and indulge in their diverse menu. The attentive service, delightful atmosphere, and mouthwatering dishes make it a dining destination that beckons for a return visit.
